Origin:
The Yorkipoo has been around for the past 10 years so they are a relatively one of the newer breeds in existence today.
History
The Yorkipoo is a designer breed resulting from a cross between a Yorkie and a Poodle. Active and lively, the Yorkipoo inherits the hunting instincts of both its Yorkie and Poodle parents, resulting in a highly intelligent puppy.
Due to their mischievous nature, Yorkipoo puppies do not do well as outside dogs and may need to be supervised around young children.

Temperament
Yorkipoo puppies are highly intelligent due to mental acuteness of both the Yorkshire Terrier and the Poodle. They can follow directions very well. The Yorkpoo has a charming personality; the hybrids are wingless, furry, four legged social butterflies who love to liven up the mood and entertain family members and guests. Yorkipoos are down to earth, incredibly smart socialites who get along well with other dogs and humans.
