The Miniature Pinscher is native to Germany. It is claimed that this breed goes back several centuries, but the exact point of origin remains murky.

History

The Miniature Pinscher, affectionately called the Min Pin for short, is a descendent of the German Pinscher family. The Miniature Pinscher is an affectionate family dog that loves children. Though this breed is very loving with its family, the Miniature Pinscher is shy around strangers and not overly friendly with other dogs and or cats. With time, consistency, and patience, this breed can be a loyal fun companion for the family.
