The Havashu’s origins likely goes back 30 or 40 years when breeders were crossing purebreds to create smaller, hypoallergenic versions of popular breeds.

History

The Havashu is a hybrid breed resulting from a mix of the Havanese and Shih Tzu breeds. This toy-sized crossbreed has a medium-to long-haired coat. Havashu puppies are enthusiastic, affectionate, often hyperactive family companions. They require moderate maintenance. Overall, Havashus are best suited for people looking for an active personal companion.
