Origin:
The English Bulldog originated from the United Kingdom.
History
The English Bulldog has a smooth coat with heavy, thick-set, low-swung body, massive short-faced head, wide shoulders and sturdy limbs. This breed is recognized as excellent family pets because of their tendency to form strong bonds with children. Sociable and sweet, but with a reputation for courage that makes him an excellent watchdog, the English Bulldog is a lover, not a fighter.
Color
Red brindle, all other brindles, solid white, solid red, fawn or fallow, and piebald. Note: A perfect piebald is preferable to a muddy brindle or defective solid color.

Temperament
They are gentle, protective, and lovable with adorable wrinkles. They can become so attached to a home and family, that they will not venture out of the yard without a human companion. They can be a slow learner, but once they know something, they will remember it for life.
